Syllabus

Course Objectives


Acquiring knowledge in remote sensing principles and techniques, for geological and archaeological applications;

Knowledge of QGIS and SAGA software for data processing and mapping


Teaching Methods


The course will consist of 60 hours of online video-lectures (synchronous and asynchronous), pratical activities using QGIS and interactions with students on the dedicated Teams platform to prepare the final project.

Assessment Methods

The final exam consists of two parts:
- an online quiz
- preparation of a QGIS project with processed satellite data to be discussed at the oral exam.
