The examination is oral and consists of an interview on the course topics with emphasis on the ability to argue from problems and the acquisition of technically appropriate language Over the summer session, students can opt for a written exam, consisting of a multiple-choice quiz, 20 questions, and a short dissertation, to be held online (moodle) ordinarily the day before the interview exam. In such a case, to pass to the interview, which will revolve around discussing the written exam, a minimum mark of 18/30 is needed. With attending students way of partitioning the exam into different modules can be agreed.

Students with disabilities, Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), or other special educational needs may benefit from individualized arrangements during examinations, in accordance with applicable legislation and the provisions set out in the University Service Charter ([University Service Charter](https://www.unich.it/sites/default/files/2024-02/carta_dei_servizi_0.pdf)), subject to prior agreement with the relevant course instructor. To request compensatory and exemption measures, students must contact the CON_TE_STO Service and follow the procedure set out in the Service Charter.
Students are encouraged to contact the course instructor during classes, or in any case well in advance of the examination date, in order to obtain information on the examination procedures and on the measures that may be granted.
