La prevenzione delle forme di ostilità e di radicalismo. Politiche migratorie e percorsi di inclusione giovanile in Europa e in Italia negli ultimi vent'anni

The researchers adopted a socio-juridical approach to analyze European and Italian integration policies and to evaluate their effectiveness in
preventing and contrasting possible forms of radicalization. In this context, migration policies are considered to be a general framework for migrant
and future generation integration as well as a tool for contrasting hostility towards the society in which the migrants live. Particular attention has been
paid to the processes of identity formation of the second generations and the difficulties and/or abilities they find in living suspended between two
cultures. The results show that it is necessary to implement education and hospitality policies based on inclusive citizenship, as they are considered
more impactful and effective in terms of inclusion of younger adults with migratory backgrounds within the hosting community.
