Exploring coastal landscape futures: strategic approaches to protection and development. Interview with Han Meyer.

The settlement processes along coastal areas have, over the years, impacted the natural dynamic balances characterizing these environments, leading to transformations, sometimes irreversible, of the landscapes. The interview explores several exemplary cases, introducing the importance of the 'building with nature' approach to manage the vulnerability of coastal landscapes. This opens up a reflection on the 'flexible' and evolving dimension of coastal planning and design to address the level of uncertainty and the urgency of the climate challenge.
