Abstract:
The area between Marina del Sole and Torino di Sangro village revealed how the transition between land and sea is an area with a plurality of interdependent features. Chief among these are the porosity of the borders, coastal erosion, extraordinary landscape richness and environmental peculiarities. A patchwork of project opportunities that often fall outside the ordinary planning of coastal areas. This is precisely the reason why Workshop B of the Summer School 2023 addressed the issues with the aim of confronting architecture and urbanism with the interscalarity necessary to hold together landscape, environmental and hydrogeomorphological issues as well. And it is from these considerations that the issue of the Via Verde Costa dei Trabocchi bicycle path was
addressed, in a historical context that, in recent years, has seen urban and suburban bicycle networks assume extraordinary prominence.
