Abstract:
This paper is about the promotion of balancing home life and work in public administration. It is an interdisciplinary and widely studied subject in doctrine, which represents an original aspect for the civil service employment, once considered ill suited to take on innovative aspects (typical of private employment) now characterized by a strong current of renewal. The proposal of balancing life and work, initially developed for the female gender, in time has become of promiscuous use. Its analysis inevitably leads to talk about the developmental stages of woman’s work (with reference to reconciling home life and work), about the principles of the most important legal references and about the main theoretical models developed in literature. This reflection spaces from the constitutional guarantees and community values which inspire parental leave and to the observation of the teleworking experience in public administration. The author concludes his speech with a brief reflection on the highlights and possible shadows that reflect by new socio-regulatory system.
