The BEST project aims to enhance awareness and equip a wide range of stakeholders, including business support
organizations (BSOs), HR managers, SME employers and employees, VET organizations, and the general public, with
essential knowledge and tools on how to manage human resources while fostering employee empowerment and contribute
to well-being within workplaces.
Central to the project's objectives is the exploration and exchange of experiences, sharing of best practices, and raising of
awareness regarding the factors critical for attracting, managing, and retaining talent for SMEs. Special emphasis will be
placed on valuing diversity and inclusivity as a pivotal point to increase talent attractions and management . The project will
facilitate discussions and debates from a transnational perspective, mapping both digital and non-digital tools at the EU
level to support these endeavors.
Furthermore, the project will enhance the knowledge and capacity of participating organizations and target groups by
comparing national working environments and European averages. This comparative analysis will encompass various
aspects, including talent attraction, selection, retention, management, and development, as well as organizational culture
and values. The project will have specific parts focused on fostering a culture that values talent, diversity and inclusion in
working places.
Additionally, the project will heighten awareness regarding the significance of workplace well-being, with a special emphasis
on enhancing organizational capacity to nurture and maximize each worker's potential. This effort will involve gathering and
disseminating both exemplary and cautionary practices, alongside leveraging digital tools in talent attraction, selection,
placement, and management processes. Through a comprehensive set of recommendations, the project aims to enhance
the capabilities of BSOs, HR managers, and SME employers.
Furthermore, the project will bolster the participating organizations' capacity to engage in international collaboration on
pertinent topics aligned with their regular activities. This collaborative approach will establish a framework for sustained
cooperation and resource-sharing, laying the groundwork for future endeavors.
BEST project contributes to the vocational education and training programme's priority by upskilling, increasing knowledge
of digital tools and best practices of the SMEs owners and employers, HR mangers, BSOs involved in personnel selection,
management, retention and development in order to attract, manage and grow talent in line with the changes in the personal
and organisational factors that after the covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the green and digital transition are
demanded and looking for by human resources to companies to grow and remain competitive in the labour market at
European level.
