Syllabus

Course Objectives

The Course is aimed at presenting the main themes of Intercultural Pedagogy in the light of the most recent national and international debate animating the panorama of education, education and vocational training in Italy and Europe, in the perspective of the Integrated Training System and Lifelong Learning.
The main national and European initiatives and regulatory interventions in the field of intercultural integration and inclusion will be analysed.
Will be presented Some tools and methodologies for the design and implementation of educational interventions aimed at fostering the development of an open, critical and respectful mentality towards diversity

Course Prerequisites

Awareness of the main historical and epistemological features of General and Social Education. Contemporary history elements

Teaching Methods

Face-to-face lessons; methodology of active learning and participation; case studies; practical activities; project and design of educational intervention plans; seminars.

Oral examination/or written test.
Possible conduct of individual and/or group inter-course tests
