Course Objectives


The Teaching course begins with a reflection on epistemological aspects, research methods, and the aims of the discipline, as well as theories and models and the main models of didactic and educational design. It then focuses on the development of the knowledge and skills needed to enable teachers and educators to act in various contexts and carry out didactic and educational activities to promote quality learning, including through the use of new technologies.

Oral exam. Written midterm assessments may be given.
Assessment criteria
Knowledge and understanding: Students must demonstrate knowledge of teaching theories and models and educational planning. Students must demonstrate knowledge of the methodologies, strategies, and tools necessary for high-quality teaching and education.
Applied knowledge and understanding: Students must be able to use the methodologies, strategies, and tools necessary for high-quality teaching and educational activities. Students must be able to develop high-quality teaching activities and learning environments.
Autonomy of judgment: Students must be able to modulate and govern teaching and educational activities and recalibrate them according to learning objectives. Communication skills: Students must be able to discuss the contents of the discipline. Students must be able to use vocabulary appropriate to the purposes of the discipline.
