Course Objectives

The student will be aware of the different radiotherapy techniques, of the induced radiobiological processes and of the treatment optimization procedures.

Course Prerequisites

Principle of Physics.

Teaching Methods

The course is structured in 24 hours of frontal lessons with multimedia support.

Assessment Methods

Oral and/or written exam.

Texts

Slides used during the lessons and bibliographic material available online.

The course will focus on the principles and modality of Radiotherapy techniques with a look on their clinical applications.
