recognise the main orbital, otologic, and cervical pathologies

correctly apply head and neck CT and MRI protocols

optimise image quality according to the clinical question

effectively collaborate with the neuroradiologist

Head and neck anatomy

Principles of Computed Tomography

Principles of Magnetic Resonance Imaging

General pathology, oncology and infectious/inflammatory disease principles

The course addresses the fundamental principles of head and neck neuroimaging, with particular emphasis on radiological anatomy, main pathological conditions, and CT and MRI imaging techniques applied to this anatomical region.
The teaching activity focuses on the understanding of radiological patterns, the correct technical setup of examinations, and the professional role of the radiographer (TSRM) within the diagnostic workflow.
