Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course introduces the development of applications in Android.

Knowledge and understanding
- describe the Android operating system
- recognize the main components of an app
- know the life cycle of an app.

Applied knowledge and understanding
- use an integrated development environment for Android apps
- design and implement an app consisting of a graphical interface and multiple Activities.

Course Prerequisites

Programming knowledge.

Teaching Methods

Lectures and laboratory.

Assessment Methods

Project and oral discussion.
The project, previously agreed with the professor, will consist in the creation of an App for Android.
