Course Objectives

The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge of the theory and practice of organizational design. To this end, we will examine key organizational models, external and internal variables influencing design choices, and the main tools available to companies to measure and enhance organizational performance. At the end of the course, students should be able to:

Identify key issues characterizing organizational design.
Understand the importance of communication and teamwork.
Develop critical thinking skills in the analysis and diagnosis of organizational problems.
Cultivate skills in change management and adaptation to new challenges.

Teaching Methods

The course is composed of 10 hours of lessons divided into 5 lessons of 2
hours per week. Lessons will focus mainly on the use of lectures. Attendance is strongly recommended.

Assessment Methods

The exam will be based on a multiple-choice test on the topics covered in class. The final grade for the integrated course will be calculated as the average of the individual grades obtained in each module (minimum 18 out of 30) that make up the integrated course.
