Syllabus

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, students will acquire the main concepts for the management of natural resources, the main production cycles through technical and economic tool with particular attention to environmental sustainability. Knowledge and understanding. At the end of the course the student will be able to understand the dynamics that regulate the technical and economic management of natural resources and raw materials, the processes of main industries and their sustainable environmental development. Making judgments - The student will be able to assess the economic, technological and production of natural resources management in a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, with a particular focus on their eco-friendly implementation. Communication skills - Teaching aims are to develop a capacity for multidisciplinary communication, combining the technical with economic terminology to evaluate the dynamics that regulate the production of natural resources and their production cycles in close relationship with the environmental system.

Course Prerequisites

Prerequisites are not required.

Teaching Methods

The course is structured in 72 hours of teaching, through frontal lectures and with occasional involvement of invited professional experts.

Assessment Methods

The oral exam (evaluated in thirthieth) aims to evaluate the level of knowledge of lectures topics, the communication skills and the judgment autonomy of the student.

Contents

The course covers the main issues related to natural resource management, considering aspects such as the process, analysis and evaluation of technologies production and processing, with the resulting implications on the environment. The course explores issues related to the resources and reserves, the raw materials for the production of energy and manufacturing sectors with its environmental implications.
