Syllabus

Course Objectives

The aim is to introduce notions of game theory with reference to non-cooperative games.
At the end of the course the students will have acquired the basic theoretical and cognitive tools related to the analysis of the behavior and strategic decisions of the economic agents.

Course Prerequisites

There are some mathematical prerequisites:
1) Basic derivatives
2) Function optimization
3) Solution of (systems of) equations

Assessment Methods

1. Written final exam comprised of three exercises. 2. Three midterm tests. 3. Exercises. During the exercises sessions the students are expected to volunteer to come to the board and solve the exercises.
