Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course aims to train the student to:
1) identification and analysis of the hydraulic risk elements connected to natural phenomena
2) approach to the design of works aimed at mitigating hydraulic risk
3) identification of the risk associated with water distribution works in urban areas
4) elements of digital transformation to support the design of hydraulic works

Course Prerequisites

The student should have acquired the following knowledge:
- hydraulics

Teaching Methods

The course will take place with lectures and exercises. Digital presentations, on-line databases, and calculation sheets will be used.
The exercises will involve the use of calculation codes and software.

Assessment Methods

The final exam will consist of carrying out an exercise and an oral exam.
