Syllabus

Course Objectives

The educational objectives concern the acquisition by students of skills for a rigorous quantitative and qualitative approach to the analysis of biomedical data.
At the end of the course the student must have learned the elements to:
- use statistical software (for data entry, storage and analysis);
- lay the foundations for a more in-depth knowledge of an application IT tool in the epidemiological and health statistical field.

Course Prerequisites

Have followed the course of Medical Statistics and biometrics that is the initial step of Discipline or otherwise have followed a basic course of Medical Statistics.

Contents

The course aims to provide the basis of the use of a statistical-epidemiological software for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of biomedical data.
