Course Objectives


Learning outcomes:
The course aims to complete the student's training with useful tools and techniques in order to produce a research protocol and to know the phases of scientific publication in the nursing and obstetric field. The training received during the course will allow the acquisition of the following skills:
- Knowledge and understanding: knowing and describing the use of methods and models of publication of research in the nursing and obstetric field.
- Autonomy of judgment: choosing the methodologies and techniques of publication of research based on the needs of the object of study.
- Communication skills: the student will be able to disseminate the results deriving from primary and secondary research in the nursing-obstetric field

Course Prerequisites


Having attended the Research Methodology Course, having attended 70% of the lectures of the Integrated Course “SCIENCES APPLIED TO RESEARCH II”

Teaching Methods


The teaching is structured in 24 hours of interactive frontal teaching, with the aid of computer-based teaching material in Power Point format and guided practical exercises, divided into lessons of 3-4 hours based on the academic calendar.

Assessment Methods


Type of exam: Oral
Learning assessment methods:
The evaluation is in thirtieths; the exam is passed if the evaluation is equal to or greater than eighteen thirtieths (18/30). In determining the order in which students must be examined, the specific needs of working students will be considered. The evaluation of insufficiency is not accompanied by a grade. The publicity of the exam tests is ensured. For the evaluation of the oral interview, the following indicators and descriptors will be taken into account. INDICATORS: relevance and correctness DESCRIPTORS: Complete: 30, In-depth: 29 - 27, Fair although with some gaps: 26 - 24, Fully sufficient: 23 - 21, Just sufficient with evident deficiencies: 20 - 18 INDICATORS: breadth and coherence
