Course Objectives

Acquire the basic notions of computer architecture, information representation, algorithms and programs. Acquire the programming methodology for building programs in programming languages. Acquire the basic notions of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Course Prerequisites

Fondamenti di calcolo e analisi matematica. Principi di algebra lineare e geometria analitica.

Teaching Methods

Two hours of lessons with teaching material in the form of a power point presentation or PDF. Two hours of tutorials + 1 hour of assisted tutoring with exercises written in programming languages and shown with the help of the software.

Assessment Methods

Exam with multiple choice questions about the topics of the course + one exercise of Matlab/Python programming
