Syllabus

Course Objectives

Achievement of a basic knowledge of Pathophysiology and Pathological Anatomy of the main diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory system. This knowledge will allow a better understanding of the pathological processes on which the intervention of the technical perfusionist is focused.

Course Prerequisites

Knowledge of the morphological and histological aspects of the cardiovascular and respiratory system.

Contents

Pathological Anatomy and Pathophysiology of the main diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory apparatus. In particular, the course will focus on cardiac surgery pathologies, on which the intervention of the technical perfusionist is focused.
