Course Objectives

Expected learning outcomes.The course aims to equip students with the following learning outcomes:Students will acquire a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of listed companies law, with particular focus on financial intermediaries and their operations, as well as on the regulation of financial markets and listed issuers.Knowledge and understanding.At the end of the course the student must have acquired the knowledge of the main legislative texts on the above subjects and be able to apply them to specific cases.

Course Prerequisites

The knowledge of the fundamental notions of private and commercial law is required.

Assessment Methods

The exam consists of a preliminary and optional written test and a final interview.The final evaluation, expressed in thirtieths, takes into account both the preliminary written test (which is not compulsory) and the final interview.Ability to apply knowledge and understanding: in the exam, the student must demonstrate that he has acquired the main concepts and legal rules of the subject and is able to use them in solving concrete problems.

The course is divided into three modules: the first is dedicated to the law governing financial intermediaries, the second to the regulation of financial markets, and the third to the regulation of listed issuers.
