Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course aims, according to Dublino descrittori, to provide students knowledge and understanding
on the main aspects of human nutrition also applied to specific needs such as individuals undergoing exercise stress or during aging.They will also be taken care of aspects related to the measurement of basal metabolism and the production of body energy during work. The course will stimulate the making judgements and the communication skill as well as learning skills about the most innovative aspects of nutrition physiology.

Assessment Methods

The exam consists of two parts: 1 - oral exam on the contents of the course; 2- public presentation of the main topics covered in the course.
The first part will take place on the date established by the didactic secretariat and consists in the verification of knowledge through an interview with the teacher. The second part will consist in the presentation presented by the student to the course colleagues and professors, with the support that it considers best for the purpose, of the aspects considered most interesting treated during the course. The presentation should have a duration of 8-10 minutes. The final mark will be in thirtieths and calculated as follows: 80% Oral exam; 20% Public presentation
