Course Objectives

The course aims to provide knowledge and skills as well as develop skills related to nutritional approaches human nutrition and applied dietetics, role of nutrition in the prevention of diet-related diseases but also be able to draw up dietary plans in relation to different physiological and / or pathological conditions. Prevention of non-transmissible chronic diseases, motivational communication strategies;. Evaluation of food intake in Eating Behavior Disorders

Medical Nutritional Therapy in Type 1 Diabetes. CHO counting. Weight loss interventions and weight loss maintenance. Diabetes Self-management Education and Support. Adherence to nutritional therapy and to physical activity programs. Type 2 diabetes mellitus: Prevention and nutritional approach. Nutrition and fertility. Nutrition during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Sports nutrition Cardiovascular risk in diabetes: prevention. Eating Behavior Disorders. Dieta Mediterranean Diet, Ketogenic Diet, Chrononutrition, Low FODMAPs Diet. Nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics.
