Course Objectives


The course aims to develop linguistic and communicative skills in the following fields:A. Strategies and tactics of daily conversation:- taking part in the communication introducing yourself (or introducing a third person), greeting, saying goodbye, apologizing, answering, asking to repeat, expressing an opinion;- asking / giving information on events, people, objects;- knowing how to realize the following communicative intentions: desire / will, request, advice, proposal, invitation, promise, certainty / uncertainty;- expressing own opinion on events, people, objects.B. Production of short written and oral texts on familiar and habitual topics:- Presentation of oneself / Presentation of a friend or relative;- Study / Work;- Your own day;- Leisure;- My city;- Health;- Weather.C. Drafting of a personalized glossary related to the aforementioned areas

Course Prerequisites


None, the course is intended for beginners.

Teaching Methods


The course includes 390 hours, divided as follows: 60 hours of lectures with the teacher + 228 hours of self-learning and homeworks + 90 hours of practice with the CEL. 24 hours will be teached by Donata Di Leo, 54 hours by Maria Chiara Ferro. The teaching is fulfilled through an integrated method: communicative approach, group work, description of grammar after students' autonomous preparation on new contents, fixation and consolidation activities, version of sentences and expressions from and to Russian language. During the academic year will be used multimedia(computer projections, movies, audio recording) and authentic materials. The course consists of the following sections: 1. Cyrillic alphabet and spelling; 2. Phonetics and intonation; 3. Basic vocabulary and basic morphology; 4. Comprehension and production of written texts; 5. Comprehension and production of oral texts; 6. Introduction to word formation in the Russian language.

Assessment Methods


The exam consists of a written and an oral test.Written exam: for the students attending lessons, the written exam is divided in 2 tests during the year, consisting of:- dictation
grammar test

- short composition (on one of the topics discussed in the handbook. MIR TESEN. FONDAMENTI DI CULTURA, STORIA E LETTERATURA RUSSALIVELLI A1-B1+ DEL QUADRO COMUNE EUROPEO DI RIFERIMENTO PER LE LINGUE. SECONDA EDIZIONE, BONCIANI DANIELA; ROMAGNOLI RAFFAELLA, Hoepli 2023, lessons 1-5. Successful results in these tests allows access to the oral exam (see below). There are no forms of recovery of failed tests.The oral exam consists of:- conversation with the CEL
- reading, morphosyntactic analysis and sight translation of a short text in Russian;- explanation in Italian of a topic of morphosyntax (also for students of Russian mother tongue).The oral examination can only be accessed after passing the written exam.For those students who have not passed the 2 tests during the year, for students not attending lessons and for the FC there will be a final written exam and an oral one of the same type.The written exam is valid for three sessions. The student can choose to take the oral exam in the same session of the written exam or in one of the following two.Assessment The written and oral exam is evaluated in thirtieths, making the average of the marks obtained in the two parts.

Contents


The course includes literacy and introduction of basic morphosyntactic structures of Russian language and of Russian linguistics, in order to enable the student to understand and produce simple texts in the foreign language, concerning topics of a daily nature (see the "training objectives"), as well as elements of Russian cuisine, geography of Russia and history of the Russian language.

The linguistic practice carried out by the CEL is an integral part of the course.Attendance of lessons is strongly recommended.Russian speaking students and working students are required to make contact with the teachers at the beginning of the course. Students OUT OF COURSE must refer to this program.Tutoring hours: once a week during the entire teaching period.
