The teaching contributes to the realization of the educational objective of the Course in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences to train professionals able to plan, manage and evaluate the welfare services with a view to improving quality.

RESULTS OF EXPECTED LEARNING

Knowledge and understanding
At the end of the lessons of the course the student will have to:
- be able to transfer the appropriate methodologies and tools to support the quality of the governance system of health policies in the area.
- know the methodologies for risk management in the clinical-organizational context.

Applying knowledge and understanding
At the end of the lessons of the course the student will have to:
-analyze relevant policies to provide health care, understand and use laws and regulations to ensure the quality of patient care;
- make decisions of high quality and cost effective in the use of resources for assistance and training.

Making Judgments
At the end of the lessons of the course the student will have to:
- be able to elaborate complex analyzes and develop independent reflections and evaluations to support the decisions necessary to face complex problems in the governance of the assistance, organizational, training and research processes related to the exercise of the nursing and obstetric function
