Syllabus

Course Objectives

At the end of the course the student should be able to
a) Know and understand the basic principles of technical quality in clinical laboratories.
b) Know and understand the principles of the concept of Quality according to the ISO Standards concerning clinical laboratories and healthcare facilities
c) Know and understand the phases and procedures of accreditation and certification concerning clinical laboratories and healthcare facilities

Course Prerequisites

Principles of clinical pathology and laboratory medicine
Fundamentals of statistics

Assessment Methods

Written and/or Oral test on the entire course program. The test will be passed if the candidate reaches the cut-off score of 18/30.
Evaluations will be communicated in due advance and their results will be publicly available.
