Syllabus

Course Objectives


The course aims providing knowledge on

the main theoretical and applicative models concerning the field of Psychosomatics and Clinical Health Psychology




Course Prerequisites


No preparatory constraints are required.




Teaching Methods


The course is structured in 54 hours of frontal teaching. This amount is divided into 2-3 hours lessons according to the academic calendar. The course contents are presented through lessons in lecture hall, taking advantage of power point slides (made available to the students), and through the presentation of explicative clinical cases.




Assessment Methods


The exam will be constituted by an oral examination aimed to assess the knowledge, the conceptual mastery, the linguistic skills, the ability of interpretation and analysis of clinical psychological and health topics. The exam will be evaluated on a score range from 18 to 30. A score 18-23 indicates a sufficient knowledge, 23-28 a good level of knowledge, 28-30 an excellent knowledge, "cum laude" particular abilities of analysis and critical reasoning.
