Course Objectives


The course aims to provide students with a general understanding of the historical evolution of social policies in the Italian and European context. The objective will be to provide analytical tools to recognize the intricate networks of social, political and economic interconnections that characterize social policy interventions.

Contents


The course content will be based primarily on the fundamental theoretical perspectives underlying the study of social policy. Therefore, it will examine the characteristics of welfare in Italy throughout the various historical, social, and economic phases of our country's history, as well as the dynamics of social policies.
In addition, the course will focus on health, pension, and labor policies, exploring the connections between welfare/social policies and the family.


In accordance with current regulations, the course will be delivered primarily online.
