Syllabus

Course Objectives

Achieving basic notions and criteria for the analysis, design and management of water systems working under pressure and on free surface.

Course Prerequisites

Notions of analysis, geometry and physics given in the courses preceding the course of Hydraulics. The course provides the basic notions to in hydraulics to achieve the course objectives.

Teaching Methods

The course will be articulated in lectures and exercises by using spreadsheets and technical software.

Assessment Methods

Oral examination with discussion of a design exercise.
