CNS infectious diseases are life-threatening conditions for which a prompt diagnosis is required. Radiologists play a crucial role in these patients management with MRI being undoubtedly the imaging techinque of choice. In this chapter advantages ofvery high field (3T) respect to high field (1.5T) are focused.Given the vastity of the topic, only diseases with most peculiar MRI findings are discussed.
