Enjambement nella lirica di Anna Achmatova

The article deals with the use of “enjambement” by Anna Axmatova. A scrutiny of her poetic “corpus” has given as a result that the poetess used this metrical figure throughout her works (from 1912 to 1964), but especially (2,22 %) in her first book (1912). Enjambement can thus be considered one of the means through which Axmatova gave a strong impulse to renew Russian poetry after the symbolist period. Although Axmatova is one of the gratest and most famous Russian poets, this article is the only study devoted to the subject.
