The book returns the results of international research (FAUP - POLIMI -UDA) on “The School Space and the Urban Environment” which produced a first publication, “The Ideal School” (FAUP-CIAMH, 2018), followed now by this second volume, with the title “What Space for the School. Reflections for the Project” (FAUP-CIAMH, 2020) which collects the contributions of researchers from the three schools involved.
The themes developed are: typological evolution; spatial articulation and community needs; school and the requalification of the physical and social context; school and context as learning environments.
