Democrazia e antidemocrazia nel mondo greco

This book contains the proceedings of an international conference held at “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara that hosted an interdisciplinary discussion among historians, philologists and philosophers on Greek democracy and its opponents. The volume editor, Umberto Bultrighini, is both the author of the Introduction and of the paper 'From Cleisthenes to Callicles: a choice is a choice', where he focuses on elite's involvement in democratic government and on Plato's criticism.
