Education at the center. New architectural types for the newborn province of Pescara during the Fascist period

During the twenty years of fascism, school education in Italy took on particular importance
as a tool for the propaganda of the regime, in search of new architectural models.
The contribution deepens the knowledge of these school models developed between the
1930s and 1940s in the newly formed province of Pescara. These buildings still bear witness
today to the cultural and social role played by the school institution, despite the many
tampering and incorrect renovations undergone over time.
