abstract:
This chapter concerns the history and archaeology of the Greek cities of the Lykos Valley in Western Asia Minor (Turkey, province of Denizli), namely Laodikeia on the Lykos, Hierapolis of Phrygia and Tripolis on the Maeander, between the Hellenistic age (3rd cent. BCE) and the Roman Imperial age (3rd cent. CE).
