Abstract:
The present invention relates to anticancer therapy in patients bearing tumors overexpressing Trop-2, by means of drugs directed against a component of the signalling network of Trop-2, wherein said component is Akt. Trop-2 overexpression can also be exploited for the screening in vitro and in vivo of the anticancer activity of new compounds.
