Raffaella Basilico, MD is Past President of the European Society of Emergency Radiology (ESER). She is Associate Professor MED 26/D at the Department of Medical, Oral and Biotechnological Sciences at the Università degli Studi Chieti-Pescara. Her main research interests include imaging of abdominal oncology (US, CEUS, CT and MRI) and of traumatic and non-traumatic emergencies. She is Fellow of ESGAR.
She has been and is involved in many educational national and international activities. She has been member of the CORE committee of the European Diploma of Radiology (EDIR) from 2016 to 2020, the Editorial Board Member of ESR e-learning from 2013 to 2016 for Emergency Radiology, Chairperson of the Scientific Subcommittee of Emergency Radiology for ECR 2017 and has been Member of the Programme Planning Committee for ECR 2019-2020. She is an invited speaker with more than 120 presentations at national and international meetings, including the European Congresses of Radiology (ECR) and RSNA .
