Innovative and printable rhNGF nanomedicines for the treatment of HEARing diseases: Muco- and bioadhesive formulations for an efficacious Ear delivery

Lo studio intende sviluppare un sistema innovativo a base di nanoparticelle per la veicolazione di rhNGF, che abbiano proprietà muco- e bio- adesive, da inserire all’interno di scaffolds, biocompatibile e biodegradabile, ottenuto mediante utilizzo di una stampante 3D. Il sistema ottenuto verrà poi utilizzato per la veicolazione selettiva dell’attivo all’interno della coclea al fine di favorire, mediante metodiche non invasive, la rigenerazione del nervo ottico e ripristinare le normali funzionalità uditive.
