REGENERA project, is structured along several development lines involving industrial research phases combined with experimental development activities, is particularly challenging as it involves both the introduction and improvement of innovative products/services, specifically:
1) New automated washing system for the production of biological prostheses.
2) Additive-based biological prostheses.
3) 3D-conforming biological prostheses.
4) Intelligent system for distributed certification (notarization) of process traceability and quality data via blockchain.
5) Collagen for surgical use in solid, powder, gel, and liquid form obtained from a circular economy.
6) Development of a two-dimensional and three-dimensional human cellular model (mesenchymal and endothelial cells) for product testing, biochemical testing, and human clinical trials.
7) Analysis of cytotoxicity, biocompatibility, hemocompatibility, cell migration and carcinogenicity of the developed products, biochemical characterization and in vivo tests on animals.
