Syllabus

Course Objectives


This course provides a theoretical foundation for conducting evaluation of policies and projects in an international context and teaches practical methods for application in the field. Students will learn the theoretical foundation of cost-benefit analysis, including strategies for valuation, discounting, weighting the distribution of costs and benefits.

Course Prerequisites


Microeconomics

Teaching Methods


The course is structured in 48 hours of teaching activity organized in lectures and case studies.

Assessment Methods

Learning outcomes will be assessed in oral examination. The exam consists of a number (3-4) of open questions that the student answers orally.
The examiners will question the candidate on the topics presented during the course for about 15 minutes.
