To improve the students’ language skills, focusing on grammar structures, functions and vocabulary consistent with the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference. Students are expected to develop their ability to understand relatively simple texts (mainly though not exclusively written texts) of different kinds, concerning familiar topics and everyday life, and in particular, to understand the main ideas of texts related to their field of study.

Interactive activities are implemented during the lessons. Students will be engaged in exercises, readings, listening, and watching videos.

Oral test. The syllabus is the same for both attending and non-attending students. Attendance is recommended. Non-attending students are invited to contact the tutor in advance for further information.
