OD28B - INTERNSHIP IN ENDODONTICS

The course’s learning objectives enable the student to achieve a level of competence that allows them to identify the endodontic problems and to independently manage low/medium-complexity cases, treating them correctly through to resolution. The student will be able to formulate a diagnosis regarding the main pulpal and periapical pathological conditions that represent indications for endodontic treatment. The training acquired includes the ability to distinguish and correctly use endodontic instruments, as well as to select and appropriately use discipline-specific materials, to properly prepare the access cavity, to plan and organize endodontic procedures, and to carry out treatment on models and on natural teeth.
