Acquisition of the basic elements of psychiatric semiotics. Knowledge of the major psychiatric pathologies in terms of frequency and severity and application of these concepts in a context of differential diagnosis with other medical conditions. Knowledge of the principles of psychopharmacology. Role of the nurse within the DSM as case manager of complex psychiatric cases.
