Syllabus

Course Objectives


At the end of the workshop, students will possess the basic skills to actively interact with contemporary poetry.

Course Prerequisites


No particular prerequisites are required.

Teaching Methods


The frontal lesson will be accompanied by laboratory activities, which allow participants to experience first-hand the practices of poetic creation and its dissemination. The teacher's lessons will be open to interventions by poets, critics, editors and other protagonists of the field.

Assessment Methods


The exam, which will take the form of an interview, is aimed at ascertaining the achievement of the course objectives. The subject of the assessment will be both the topics covered in class and the assigned bibliography. In the event of a positive outcome of the interview, the exam will be "approved" (a grade out of thirtieths is not foreseen).

Contents


The workshop aims to bring students into the main problems and trends of contemporary poetry, with particular attention to the poetry of the 2000s (authors, works, series, publishing, intermediality).
