Course Objectives

Understand the pathophysiology of major neurodevelopmental disorders. Analyze the impact of rehabilitative techniques and therapeutic aids on neural circuits and functional improvement in patients with neurodevelopmental disorders. Promote an interdisciplinary approach for the comprehensive management of patients with special needs.

The course contents cover the main pathological condition associated wih developmental age and associated therapeutic aids. Particular importance will be given to the processes and factors that determine cognitive recovery or stability and, therefore, to the mechanisms of brain reconfiguration induced by neurorehabilitative interventions.
