Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course aims to provide students of the Degree in Architecture with the theoretical models and basic operating tools for the study of structural systems consisting of continuous bodies, and in particular beams, examining the conditions of equilibrium, congruence, resistance and stability.

Mathematics and Statics.

Classroom lessons.

Assessment Methods


Preliminary written test with orientation value, including application exercises on hyperstatic structures and resistance checks of a beam cross-section.The oral exam is aimed at verifying the learning of the practical and theoretical contents of the course and includes the discussion of the preliminary written test.
