Syllabus

Course Objectives

Basic knowledge of Byzantine art in the territories of the empire from Constantine to the fall of Constantinople (4th-15th centuries)

Course Prerequisites

Students should have taken the medieval art history exam or at least attended the course.

Teaching Methods

Lectures with powerpoint

Attendance is highly recommended.

Assessment Methods

Oral exam with marks out of 30, aimed at verifying the ability to expose the topics presented during the course with clarity and autonomy of judgment.
