Contents

The Social Genetics course will cover topics focused on the study of the genetic bases of normal and pathological human characteristics and on pathologies with social impact. Topics such as Alzheimer's genetics, Parkinson's, mental retardation, and forensic genetics will be analyzed. Particular interest will be devoted to the psychological problems related to the execution of genetic tests and to the management of patients' psychological problems during the genetic counseling
