Syllabus

Course Objectives


TRAINING OBJECTIVES

The course aims to deliver the notions of insolvency law, with particular reference to the juridical regulation of the business crisis.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

A good knowledge and understanding of the substantial and processual institutions of insolvency law

The student will learn the lexicon and the fundamental institutions of the sector, acquiring the ability to navigate in the code of bankruptcy and insolvency law and in the complementary legislation

Ability to apply knowledge and undestanding

The student will acquire the ability to apply specific cases to the general and abstract once, for a right definition and appropriate solution of elementary practical cases, with particular reference to the law of the business crisis and restructuration.

Independent assessments

The student will develop logical skills and acquire the ability to interpret normative texts and juridical papers in relation to the enterpreneurial activities aimed at restructuring plans or asset liquidation

Communication skills

Training of the ability to argue, explain and use the acquired juridical lexicon

Learning ability

The student will be able to carry out basic juridical research and to write legal acts on simple cases.




Course Prerequisites


Institutional knowledge of the private law (in particular, obligations and contracts, patrimonial liability) and the commercial law




Teaching Methods


TEACHING METHOD

Frontal lesson. The course includes 36 hours divided into two-hours lessons for three days a week, and further 8 hours of additional teaching. Attendance is not compulsory.




Assessment Methods


ASSESSMENT OF LEARNING

The exam is oral. The assessment verifies the level of knowledge and skills developed by the student on the training objectives of the course.

It is essential to study with the support of the updated bankruptcy and insolvency law
