STASI21 - SOCIAL STATISTICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE

The course aims to provide students with the typical tools of the descriptive statistics and to introduce them to the correct use of the related methods in the social field, in particular through the use of IT tools. Students will then know the statistical methods necessary to treat, manipulate, represent and process data (both qualitative and quantitative), through the use of non-specific software. They will therefore have to be able to use the data in order to transform it into information, for decision-making purposes in the business environment. The ability to represent and interpret the results obtained plays a fundamental role.
